桜丘中学校さんの日記
６月にアメリカにある姉妹校のMonte Vista校より、留学生が来ました。

本校生徒の家に１週間弱ホームステイをし、本校生徒にとってもいい経験となりました。
ホームステイ後は、京都や広島に観光に行き、日本の様々な面を見たようです。
本校を去った後、しばらくしてから御礼状が届きました。
広島旅行中に書いてくれたようです。
今回、その一部をご紹介いたします。

Dear ○○family, ありがとうございます！
I can't thank you enough for hosting me this past week.
After meeting you, I have decided that what I love most about Japan is the people.
You were all so generous, hospitable, and you spoke excellent English!
You taught me so much about your language and culture, and you helped me realize that I adore Japen!
When I am older and have learned more Japanese, I definetely want to come back and live here.
I am so thankful for all of those things, and all of the gifts you have given me and my family.

Thank you for making the first part of my vacation in Japan very comfortable.
○○ちゃん―It was a lot of fun, getting to know you.
You're such a fun and kind person, and you're very skilled at playing drums.
I hope that you get good grades and continue to get good grades, as well as get to the college you want to go to.
Walking around Tokyo was a lot of fun, especially going to the Polenuon Center and Asakusa.
Traveling around on ricashaw was very interesting.
I can't wait to see you again some day!

今月末には、高２の生徒もMonte Vista校に訪問し、ご家庭に滞在します。
再会を果たすことができる生徒もいることでしょう。
