The American guest speaker from EF (Education First) also explained why these values are so important in everyday life, at home, at school, and in the outside world.
The lecture included a workshop in which groups had to design an Olympic Village. They had to think about what things the athletes would need such as accommodation, meals, and leisure space. Furthermore, they had to decide how to make the stay a comfortable and culturally rewarding experience for all visitors.

本日、EIシアターにて東京オリンピックに関する講義が行われました。
東京2020オリンピック競技大会オフィシャルパートナーの国際事業者のEFによる教育推進支援事業の一環の教育プログラムです。講師のカリーム先生はニューヨークのマンハッタン出身の親しみやすい性格で、生徒も色々積極的に質問をしていました。
オリンピックについて基礎的な知識を学び、その後理想の選手村について考え、最後に発表を行いました。短い準備時間にもかかわらずみんな真剣に取り組み、それぞれが個性的な選手村を考えることが出来ました。
生徒達はこの講義を通してより東京オリンピックについての興味・関心が高まったようです。
